Hello CKI Members:
As you navigate through these college years and try to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life, it is essential that you network with people in the industry in which you want to work. By networking, you will gain invaluable knowledge about your field of choice.
Part of being in CKI is that you are a part of Kiwanis International, the parent organization of CKI. Kiwanians want to talk to CKI members who are potentially interested in their career field! This site is designed to help CKI members search for Kiwanians and connect with them. We encourage you to reach out to these Kiwanis members and grab lunch of coffee to discuss the job!
Should you have any questions about this program, feel free to reach out to me.
Yours in service,
Florida District CKI Governor

Things to keep in mind before meeting with your professional mentor:
- Be prepared with the questions you are going to ask. You don’t want to waste their time, so be courtesy by being prepared. Here is a link to a website that has some good ideas of questions to ask. Keep in mind, it is okay to not know everything about their field! Don’t be shy to ask basic questions!
- Bring your resume! Ask your professional mentor for his/her opinion on it. They are in the field and will know what employers are looking for. They will be able to give you some valuable advice on what you should alter in order to be the best candidate.
