This document will have all of the information you need to effectively run for higher office and answer any questions you might have.
District Executive Office
Candidates running for District Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, and Editor, will be elected during the House of Delegates session during District Convention 2025. All candidates must submit their letter of intent, along with their candidate literature by Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST.

All campaign literature will be published in a packet and distributed to registered convention attendees.
Lieutenant Governors
Candidates running for Lieutenant Governor will be able to run during a Divisional Council Meeting (DCM) on Zoom prior to the District Convention. If no candidate is elected during a DCM, then a candidate can run during the District Convention.
Potential candidates must inform their Lieutenant Governor of their intent to run and submit their Statement of Commitment form 72 hours prior to the opening session of the DCM. Please reach out to your current Lieutenant Governor for information on the date of your Division's DCM.
International Endorsement
Candidates seeking International Endorsement for either International President, Vice President, Trustee, or General Endorsement must submit candidate literature by Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. All of these positions will be voted for endorsement during the House of Delegates session during District Convention 2025.

District Committee Chairs
Applications to serve as a District Chair on the 2024-2025 District Board will open closer to April and will be posted on our District Website. It is encouraged for all members interested in serving as a District Chair to attend the 2025 District Convention.
